No freaking way. Got a link? Cowherd was such a douche to the Rocks last season, I gotta see what he says now.
Don't know if anyone has posted this, but the Lawson highlight below is my favorite (for obvious reasons). <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/ODPgg3dopg0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
LOL. Sign Darrell Arthur and JaVale Mcgee and Lawson should feel right at home playing with that 2nd unit.
For sure. I definitely think we will see the first 60 win season for the Rockets in franchise history.
Well between Harden and Lawson in our backcourt, they won't have much of a choice, unless they want to put Curry on Ariza. LOL
They are a much smarter defensive team under Kerr than back then. Though of course a Lawson Harden backcourt will be devastating
Most teams put their best defender on Harden, and they still will, but then we had no one to really beat them off the dribble. After watching even more of Lawson's highlights, I don't think there is a PG in the league that he can't beat off the dribble and get to the rim. Teams are going to struggle to guard our backcourt like never before. It will be beautiful. I also think that TJones will benefit from Lawson's game much more than DMo. TJones has the potential to be a mini Faried light with the way that teams will have to play Lawson and help on defense. They won't be able to lag off of Howard because of the alley, and leaving Ariza wide open for 3s and his % will go up. Most teams will have to try to stop Lawson with TJones' defender and he is athletic enough to finish above the rim with dunks with the type of passes that Lawson delivers. DMo is not really an above the rim player, albeit definitely a better post player than TJones. Because of this, I see TJones still starting and DMo coming off the bench to better utilize his post game with Bev. DMo in the starting lineup with Harden, Howard, Lawson and Ariza will not get enough touches and not enough rebounds to be effective. Once he comes off the bench with Bev, Brewer, Capela and maybe Thornton, DMo can then actually be the focus of the offense and thrive as one of the best 6th man in the league I think.
I like this post. Very interesting thoughts and I understand how Tjones can be the biggest benefiter from this trade.
idk if Steph is much better defensively..he literally had nobody to defend for most of the playoffs. klay can't check harden and steph won't be able to defend lawson. still can't believe every opposing starting point guard was injured..
