Spiers was up there with Biggio and Bagwell as my favorite Astros of that era. Dude was just so freaking clutch and played every position well. I wish his back would've lasted long enough to get him through 2005. He would've made that team even better.

Ha, I remember that. Spiers was awesome. Actually I hope Lowrie can turn into someone like Spiers. If he can play all the infield positions and hit I think he'd become incredibly valuable to the team. I don't think Marwin is quite as talented.

You want to pitch him up and in, Harris just didn't get it up enough. Harris's slow delivery plus Conger's noodle arm is a guaranteed SB for anyone faster than Marwin. Also, I hate this chickensh!t review the stolen base because the guy pops up off the base.
