he, much like you, was being a douchebag. She endagered noone. But of course, I actually watched the video, read the transcript and that of her cell mates and made a rational decision. You just based your opinion on nothing like you did in response to me regarding andre johnson and acted like a fool.

If you haven't woken up and realized that race problems were ignored and not addressed over the past 60 years, I have nothing for you. Just as I have nothing for your ignorance of how football teams operate and take advantage of players occassionally.

I'm bothered by where we are as a society and how we continually draw lines of affiliation that separate from everyone else.

Wow what an impressively ignorant comment. It's actually rare that an ignorant comment can stand out from your every day type of ignorant comments in the D&D but you really went above and beyond! Congratulations are certainly due.

    Now please never post again.

Yes, another isolated, random incident involving respek my authoritay and the usual suspects coming forward in denial about all the isolated, random incidents all across the United States involving minorities and the police. Same old story.

Stupid/Crazy people get themselves thrown in jail for being stupid/crazy all the time, the only thing out of the ordinary in this case is that this particular stupid/crazy person also killed themselves while in jail.

Of course, them blacks just been stupid and crazy for decades or maybe you're just stupid and crazy. Tough call. I'm in awe of how you can view complex issues through a simplistic, idiotic lens. It's like you really believe this stuff you post. It's a true talent.

How the hell am I "using her suicide"? I would be stating the exact same thing if she was still alive today and didn't commit suicide. Her suicide is irrelevant to the fact that an officer couldn't set aside his pride. He did nothing illegal, but if the only grounds termination in LE is committing an illegal act, then that is a pretty low freaking bar.

No, I believe the ones using her suicide are the ones that choose to exonerate the officer because apparently her suicide is evidence that she was mentally unstable thus the officer had every right to be butthurt and act on his butthurtness.

Wouldn't you agree we are all a pain in the ass?

Wouldn't you agree we all have bad days?

Wouldn't you agree it sucks getting pulled over?

Wouldn't you agree it sucks being in jail?

Wouldn't you agree it's crazy to be in jail for a small vehicular infraction?

Wouldn't you agree you have the right to disagree with an officer?

There were obviously far more complicated problems with Sandra that she herself had which lead to her death.... I'm not implicating the police in her death - I believe her state of mind would have lead her to her death regardless of situation. I do blame the officer for how he handled the situation and I have a very hard time believing it is not race induced/related/etc., and this is obviously getting more attention because she died. Additionally, given the altercations around the nation, how can you not say we have a very big problem?

How does one purposely want to be thrown in jail because of craziness when one explicitly states to the officer to write the damn ticket and be done with it?

Yes, of course that was what I was saying....I couldn't have possibly been talking solely about the one stupid/crazy woman with at least 2 prior suicide attempts that turned a warning for failing to signal into a trip to jail for assaulting a cop, who then committed suicide and people who do similar things. In your stupid little mind, what I was saying had to have a racial component.

People like you are a blight on society.

Your comments show a fundamental misunderstanding of the situation though. She wasn't in jail for a small traffic violation, she was in jail for assaulting a police officer.

As to having the right to disagree with an officer, certainly, but even if you disagree with them, you do not have the right to fail to comply with a lawful order if they give you one. You do not have the right to assault them if they are arresting you for failing to comply with a lawful order.

Even if you are having a bad day.
Even if you think it sucks that you got pulled over.
Even if you think it sucks being in jail.

    Umm...okay?

Make it a issue? Looks like it is being investigated.

Yes, this case invalidates all previous cases of police brutality.

    she didn't put out a cigarette. I don't smoke, but I wouldn't have either.

he asked what was wrong and she told him. What was wrong with that?

I know you around 30, just got a decent job and think you have it figured out from your perspective, but how about putting yourself in someone elses shoes?

I'll take it a step further and apply my parent logic

my job as a parent is not to control my children to the nth degree. It is to discipline them enough to instill behaviors and actions that will set them up for success. If I discipline them for every little thing they do wrong, I create multiple problems.

If in turn I allow them to express themselves and they occasionally pop off, yet they maintain the overall good that they are (great students, friends, children, etc.) everyone benefits.

Of course, I guess it's so much better to arrest someone for telling you your an ******* instead of arresting someone for robbery, rape, etc.

And if you refused to put out your cigarette the officer would almost certainly ask you to step out of your vehicle. Then you'd have the decision of either getting out of the vehicle, or going to jail.

Trust me, I smoked for a REALLY long time, and every time I got pulled over if I had a cigarette lit, they made me put it out. If you get combative with the officer, they are almost always going to search your vehicle as a result, trying to find out why you are acting so weird.

No matter what shoes you have on, you go to jail if you disobey a police officer's lawful order and then kick and scratch them when they go to arrest you.

So much conjecture. Any legislation, court case, written laws/codes that suggest that a civilian must obey putting out a cigarette within their own vehicle? Just because an officer told you and you complied doesn't conclude that the other option of saying no is 'illegal'. Have you ever said 'no'? Do you know what happens when you say 'no'?

That is some ****ty anecdotal evidence.
