My bad, he said "he doesn't know if HOU is as good".

Better run-diff by far over the Yankees, better run-dif than LA, and only 3 behind KC.... despite all our injuries.

Now, adding Kazmir, I don't think it's debatable that HOU isn't right there with all of them. And there's an obvious legit argument we're better than all of them except maybe, maaaaybe KC. We stunted on the Royals just weeks ago.

I think everyone considers us to be in that group, but to say that we are certainly "better" is just looking through fans eyes

We are right there with them though, and if we get into a playoff series and McCullers is not limited innings wise, i'd take our 4 man rotation over any in the AL

True but I think we could have said that about just about any of the top prospects. This is a part of the reason you have prospects.

I am guessing that was a joking comment in reference to the catcher Houston took in 2006 who eventually developed meningitis and is out of baseball.

Samardzija would have been fun to have.

Corresponding 25 man roster move... the end of Fausto/Roberto? Dude has only pitched twice since 7/4 and could have VV or Feldman move to 'pen.

Charlie Pallillo is convinced Feldman is gone. I don't think that's the case at all. I think Hernandez is likely to move out so that they can then manage VV's and McCullers' innings.

Or Carter to the DL or Singleton back to Fresno. Fausto has done well as a long reliever. VV and McCullers throw a lot of pitches in their starts, so it seems like they may need Fausto available to throw 3-4 innings once a week. Although I've always liked Qualls, I see Fausto as adding more value right now to the bullpen.

To the people upset, you can't give up nothing for #2 starting pitcher. At least it is just a catcher. The real positive here is that this is a move to win. I like many was afraid that we would become Rays 2.0. This is a move they would never make. We are going for it and looks like Crane was true to his word to continue to add payroll as we got better.

Gone, as in, cut? I'd say pretty much no chance. Wouldn't make much sense.

Great trade by the Astros, they might get some batting help now.
