Surprised there wasn't a thread on this already (or more likely I missed it) -- anyone watching this? I'm not a fan of Matt Dillon but I've enjoyed the show so far. I keep going back and forth as to what I think is going on..
I randomly am. I think it's the first network drama I've watched since Lost. It's kept me intrigued. If it isn't an experiment, how were they able to go get him family and bring them in? Wouldn't make sense.
Spoiler Exactly. My only thought would be they kept them in the chambers, but then you'd have to wait 100 years, release Ethan, then his family a week later. It just seems weird to me that Kate truly believes she has been there for 12 years when Ethan said it has been about 6 weeks. That seems to give some credence to the future theory. Also - how was that tiny little bomb supposed to blow a hole in the steel wall?!
Smokin When I thought it was another mystery small town series this has blown my mind a tad... Nicely done. Enjoy watching it tremendously.
It's been more enjoyable than I thought it was going to be. Looking forward to see how they wrap it up.
I got caught up to this point so I am ready for it . . . . Interesting show to say the least Rocket River
I've only seen a few episodes. I'm still not sure what this show is about. Something about they can't leave a town once they enter and the town is surrounded by walls and cliffs. And, there are creatures running around outside the walls? Is this some kind of series to compete with "Under the Dome" or something?
in a nutshell,it's everything you just said, and it's all a mystery why, and what is/isn't true. on a scale of 1-10, i'd give it a 6, which is way above my expectations, so it's a positive review for sure. i typically swear off network dramas. don't really know why i decided to watch this one. first one i've seen since LOST.
If there is one, it will be a new everything from what I understand. This story has it's ending, and a new story would be told. It could be a prequel, it could also be other "Wayward Pines".
Fox sat on this show for a while before airing it - I want to say it was ready to run in 2013. The options for all the actors have expired. Any second season will be radically different. The show is based on a trilogy of books - kindle also has a bunch of add on short stories and novellas by the author that seem to be an in vogue way for authors to make a little extra cash - like DLC's for books. Books are OK not great - good very light airplane reading. The kind of stuff where you can plow through it for hours on end without having to concentrate too much.
