Yeah, I respect LosPollosHermanos coz I called him a welcher and he paid up. LosPollosHermanos is honorable. He just got infected by Tinman. (Personally I felt Tinman should have paid the $10 for him, but. . . .)

I'm talking about the topic, that's not trolling.

If you look at the poll, even at this date where cuban had some bad luck, he's still doing well.

Trade the point guard, fire the coach, but change owners, oh no!

    Get les beings all hot!!

Also getting someone from a rival isn't unpopular.

Can you imagine if we could have dumped mcgrady for Duncan? All rockets fans would personally move his house for him.

Your point still stands that Cuban is a marketing guru, but this is a poor interpretation of data. Your conclusion assumes that all these arenas have the same basketball capacity.

A better method is percentage of capacity:

    1. Mavs - 105.1
    2. Bulls - 102.0
    3. Rockets - 101.0

The discrepancy has to do with standing room vs seated capacity

The Rockets wouldn't be better if just because Cuban would interfere with Morey's plans.

Morey always tries to operate in a way as to maximize good outcomes in the long run. Mark is too emotional and would interfere too much. He would, for example, insist on overpaying players that Morey would otherwise let go.

This all assuming the owners is all we are switching of course.

Patterson and Leslie owned the team when we won the first title. However the previous owner was Charlie Thomas

The whole idea is idiotic: give Cu99an Les Alexander's roster, pretend Cu99an hired Morey Harden Howard when in fact he never did--he failed to get Dwight, in fact--then pretend that Cu99an won't sign Rondo, Pachulia, Monta Ellis, the Indian dude etc etc. Then pretend we will love it when Harden, Dirk and Pachulia are forced to make a rap video, pretend we love to have our owner hanging off Parsons during a game. The whole thing reflects a ten-year-old's mentality.

I'm pretty sure the act of posting this in the GARM is troll enough. Don't see your 99ers sticking up for you.... But hey... stop a new poll asking if posting this in the GARM is trolling.

Bad luck? Cuban bet the farm on his relationship with Fegan to steal FAs. That's more bad planning/desparation for Dirk's ride off into the sunset.

Did you notice after the Rox's beat the Mavs and went to the WCF that the poll slanted towards Les again? Definitely got a "what have you done for me now" type of crowd here.

There are plenty of people who picked Cuban as a replacement.

You just didn't read any of their posts.

Yes Cuban is planning for Dirk's ride off to the sunset.

That's definitely better than what Hakeem got from Les.

I'm not saying Cuban didnt hire competent people, I'm saying that because he interferes with the GM side the Mavs will only go as far as Cuban's ability allows. Even if they got an amazing GM that dude wont be able to make moves that Cuban can't grasp, we saw it when Rosas quit almost immediately after being hired, he cant do anything without Cuban signing off.

So the reality is the answer to your question is no, if we had switched owners Dallas would be the one with Daryl Morey and the Mavs would be kicking Rockets ass. It doesnt matter what team Alexander owned he will still be the guy to hire Morey, Cuban had all the time in the world to hire DM but he didnt.

He has repped me as well. And I haven't been his biggest fan recently, so he definitely reps then. I don't get your point, anyways, with this.

I did. People choose Cuban over Les until we beat the Mavs and went to the WCF like I said.

It's amazing how similar the approach is between the two teams.... Swing wildly for superstars/big impact players that don't necessarily mesh or on the latter part of their prime and neglect drafting and developing players. Major difference is that Hakeem never took a paycut like Dirk, but it was a different time with cap space and salaries. In hindsight, Dirk should have been more greedy.

Cuban doesn't know the basketball side of business, a pretty important aspect, but still interferes with it.
