    Lawson: 3.84
    Beverley: 2.27
    Harden: 1.75

Beverley doesn't turn the ball over a lot. But he also doesn't dish out many assists. Bottom line, Bev is not a play maker.

Harden has a lot more TOs than Lawson, probably because of his high usage rate.

    LOL @ swyyguy.

Not only did Harden turn into one of the league's best players, he also surpassed his hero, Tracy McGrady.

That must be one tough pill to swallow for him.

PS. I loved Harden even before he was a Rocket but I had my doubts with him being the first option. Glad he removed my doubts.

Usage rate, yes. And having to create everything for others. One of the best things about Lawson is not that he'll outshine Harden's turnover rate, but that he'll improve it.

Nope this is the ultimate one. Last one since this is kind of derailing the thread :p

"We gave up too much .....

Lamb is a top 5 talent with superstar upside ........

The Toronto pick is likely to be in the 7-9 range.

Martin was an expiring that could have played much more value back into that contract before the deadline....worth a 1 now to a contender... likely more at the deadline

The protected 1 from Dallas coming later.

Then there's the Bobcat pick....high second.

    #5
    #8
    #24 or so
    #36
and the potential haul for Martin ...#20 and #25

5,8,20,24,25, and 36.......which could have been used to build/ move up in the coming daft.

But its the philosophy, or lack of one besides $$$$ that pisses me off. LOOK AT THE LIN SIGNING! (where we could have had Goran who is better at 6 1/2 per AND isn't damaged goods), and I see Leslie's need for speed/$$$$ ... Despite not starting a rebuild when Yao walked off the court in LA, Morey had us positioned as well as he could. Instead we were held hostage while Les raked in dough from his Chinese Connections. ...We waited patiently for this?!!?
    !

    Kevin, Morey, CD, etc......

The people and assets were in place to ensure/instill the longterm culture. I know we need a star, but was it too much to let everyone/everything unfold.

I feared that Les would botch it, putting his fingers in the pie and he has.

Enjoy your instant gratification over the next several years.

    #@&%%$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ .....pathetic.

Put me with solid on this.

There will be fannies in the seats .... Morey is incredible, but his talents have allowed Les to get away with bloody murder.....and the beat goes on."

    BleacherReport; Kroenke on Lawson:

According to Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports, Kroenke has long known that Lawson was battling some inner demons:

Ty ... there were times when he was better than others. But the problems have been there for several years, going back to when we were having a lot of on-court success. I don't want to go back too far. There were just a lot of times where you were at practice and you just know. You could smell it. You know there is probably deeper issues than he would probably let on.

Kroenke also revealed that Lawson's eventual fate was essentially sealed when he missed the Nuggets' first practice after the All-Star break:

"I love Ty and will always love Ty, but once I saw him going down this dark path, we knew that we probably were going to end up in a situation where we were dumping him," Kroenke said. "It creates a weird dynamic."

The Nuggets were in a tough spot since Lawson's arrest hurt his trade value, but Kroenke suggested he was looking out for Lawson's best interests by sending him to Houston:

In the long run, I hope [the trade] is a good thing for Ty Lawson, the person. There are no guarantees. Sometimes you just need to hear the message from a different person. Sometimes a change of scenery is the best thing for all parties. That's the way we looked at this. ... I think Ty Lawson, the person, is starting to understand more so than he ever has the things he needs to do in order to keep his career on track and more importantly get his life on track.

"I fully expect Ty to have success [with Houston]," Kroenke said. "We're going to be cheering him on. I think he's going to have a lot of fans in Denver, Colorado."

Very unprofessional move by Kroenke. He's obviously trying to justify the trade to his fans by airing dirty laundry about Lawson. If the organization cared that much about helping him they wouldn't be throwing him under the bus now. I'm sure these comments will be great for future FA recruiting.

Nuggets get solid players in KPap, Nick Johnson, and get a nice 1st round pick. Joey Dorsey single-handedly makes the trade look terribly lopsided. Clear advantage for the Rockets, but I think Nuggets get solid players back and gives a great chance for development of Emmanuel Mudiay.

Hopefully Lawson takes this to heart and turns his life around, it does sound like he has a serious problem. I hope we can help support him and help him turn his life around.

I believe him though when he says he is rooting for the guy. Sounds like he really hopes Lawson picks up the pieces of his life and moves forward out of his current addiction.
