The most annoying thing to come out of this offseason has got to be the tweets that now have to begin with "Via his Cyberdust app".

 

Pretty sure that DJ DID sign with the Mavs...only it was in Cyberdust, and has since disappeared.

FWIW...Jefferson was a pretty good player with the Mavs last year. This is a good move for Cleveland, and for him. He probably would have gotten more minutes with the Mavs, but, hmmmm, which one is more likely to win a championship?

Picking better teams and fit has been a real trend with FA's this year. I think that's a real positive thing for the players themselves and for the NBA. Many players took a LOT less to go to teams they wanted to play for. Be interesting to see if that continues over the next few years, especially as more money becomes available. If so, you'll see some players getting stupid money while decent to good players take less to play with better teams. Saying that now with the Mavs, as they increased spending, for the same players, to get back up to the floor after DJ didn't sign.

Jefferson had some good years with the Nets, but it seems like he's just been chasing rings his whole career.

 

Except for that time he signed with Mavs.
