    VV could be moved in a deal for a player under control for a few years

    Appel could be moved for a Price who isn't controlled but you might try to sign

    He's certainly inducing some bad swings... that's an indication of good stuff.

    But will it still be as deceptive the 3rd time through the lineup?

    Certainly didn't take long for the Red Sox to start catching up with the VV fastball... he's going to have to start locating the off-speed pitches better as well.

    Heh inducing bad swings from the Astros, is that really an accomplishment? Just kidding obviously.

    The bottom of the sox lineup somehow caught on to VV's stuff right away

    Velasquez usually pitches well enough, just three runs is too often an insurmountable lead for this ridiculously streaky lineup.
