David Blatt- the minute you become the head coach, all of a sudden, everybody knows more than you do. Sounds familiar?
George Karl - I can be outcoached for 46 minutes in a game but just so happened that we made 2 great plays at the end and win. The other coach gets crucified. Not fair.
If I was at home I could watch. Guess I'll wait for the video. I love watching McHale talk basketball. Might not always agree with his coaching, but the man knows his stuff.

If you watch the segment on how the game has evolved, you can really see the differences in coaching philosophies. Gentry and Carlisle are similar, they think big post players that dominate inside are gone forever. Carlisle thinks all future dominant bigs have to be able to guard the perimeter. Hollis and McHale think it is cyclical and that the league will eventually go back to dominant bigs like Shaq. It is also clear Hollins and McHale both really value size. McHale also seemed receptive to analytics.
I was thinkin that, lol. Seriously though I like how Hollins nudged him a little when he said something like it must be easy to have guys in end of game situations that can do things no one else can.
Hollins and McHale get along well. I have seen them chatting before when Hollins was with Memphis. McHale also was receptive to Hollins being on his staff prior to taking the Brooklyn job. Mostly watching these coaches you can see how Blatt isn't inspiring, Carlisle and Karl are a little prickly and Gentry is bright and more in tune with the modern game. Hollins and McHale come across as loyal, as guys you want to play hard for.. Charisma.
there's a 4th one <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/UTShRi_NFN8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
