On 790 they said Lowe says Lawson agreed to make his final year non-guaranteed as part of the trade? Is that true?
I find this hard to believe.....I'm still convinced somehow that there's no way any trade for Lawson happens. I just don't buy it....

Wow, so the Lawson deal doesn't even affect our free agency plans for 2016. Amazing. We can still chase Durant.

Un-freaking believable. Maintains 2016 flexibility for Durant if he wants to come, and makes Lawson a great future trade chip if he's not working out. That contract just became INSANELY valuable.

Exactly....I'm baffled how he pulled this off. He took all the risk out of this deal. We didn't even have to sacrifice flexibility.
Here is my apology to Basketballholic. Getting that final year turned into a non-guaranteed year is amazing and he suggested it here which I didn't see anyone else do. So, apologies for all the ribbing on your Lawson take. You are still wrong more often than not, but you nailed the heck out of this.
