The Ravens have denied it. The packers don't make sense. If the report has any truth to it, might come down to Texans and Patriots.
I don't think the Texans make sense either. DHopkins Cecil Shorts Nate Washington I don't think he takes a spot from one of those 3. Two other spots are for the draft picks they like: Jaelen Strong Keith Mumphery Not big on Strong personally, but they aren't going to cut him year 1 for Reggie Wayne. If they go 6, the 6th guy will be a return man most likely. Damaris Johnson (most likely) Keyshawn Martin (very unlikely) Then they still have Alan Bonner that the staff likes. What roster spot is Reggie Wayne going to get here?

Agreed, if we weren't going to have much room for a slightly washed up Dre, we really weren't going to have room for a totally washed up Reggie.
I believe Nate's contract is not guaranteed so he is not a lock. If Wayne is healthy and the Texans were interested (which they are not), that would be the spot he would be taking.
Bad for us. He's got the open running lane to chase even more tail rather than concentrating on football.
He'll have to play catch up to James Harden. Seriously though, professional sports has to be hectic on marriage. I wonder how many of them go through the necessary counseling before taking vows.
Doubtful... 1) Wayne is closer to the end than Dre 2) Colts franchise has numerous candidates for players better than Wayne. It's worse for Houston that Dre is the franchise's 1st or 2nd best player. Also, the emotion involved could effect his play. Arian wouldn't be the first athlete whose performance suffered while going through a divorce.

Or perhaps good for us because he'll be playing for that next contract after having to give up what I'm sure is a LOT in the divorce?
Hopefully that translates to camp production then flashes during the season. Everything is always positive before camp begins but at I have more confidence in the team this year even in spite of the QB situation on paper.
