If Lawson is able to keep his demons at bay and the rest of the team is reasonably healthy, the Rockets should win 60+ games this year. A very stacked team that is going to be competitive against the top teams, and steamrolled the rest.
I'd be more concerned about future problems than the ones he has already had. On the other hand, the only thing we really gave up is a late first round draft pick, and we're getting a (potentially early) second back. That is a risk worth taking
Was sitting watching espn fc and behold....scrolling at the bottom is rockets trade for ty Lawson????? That's what I'm talking about!!!!! Good job Morey, was starting to doubt.. ..now let's get this guy a driver and get him in rehab and we are good to go! I approve this trade!!!!!
Cuban's man at it again. Not as much torture as for your boss and his agent Fegan when DJ went back to LAC.
Lock this team in a gym and let them build that chemistry between all of them. That's where we are going to improve now, by constantly playing with each other on the court. The team is pretty much set and ready. Time to go out there and win, baby!
Playing with actual paint protectors, and a spectacular PnR defender like D-Mo will really help hide some of Lawson's lapses that weren't being hidden in Denver. Last season was really the first year that he was a major liability on defense. Really love this, this was by far our most glaring issue and it has been addressed. We will always have at least one playmaker on the floor. If healthy I'll say we go C Howard 32/Capela 16 PF D-Mo 28/ Jones 20 SF Ariza 32/Brewer 16 SG Harden 36/ Lawson 6/ Brewer 6 PG Lawson 26/ Beverly 22
