The Divas segment was over for one reas, fans were anticipating the NXT women and they got over. However, the WWE could have gotten so much more out of it, with a three hour show they could have gotten at least 1 match and 2 hot angles spread out. The start off fine, Bella's talking **** but there is no need for Steph. Paige comes out, give her stick time, she brings out Charlotte and Becky. Paige does the same thing Steph did but she gets mic time to get herself over some more and put over the new girls. Turn into the brawl, then have Steph out and book a match. 6 women tag, have it go over 2 segments, turns into a hot no contest. Then have Naomi and Tamina come out, brawl stops, they bring out Sasha. Another big pop, 9 women brawl again. 1. Fans think Charlotte and Becky are the surprise so when Sasha shows up it is more of a surprise because they put there guard down. 2. It felt like Steph just brought out these new girls and put them into teams. The only connection between Sasha, Naomi and Tamina is that they have dark skin. Other than that, the segment as it was showed pretty clearly the NXT girls are a step above. Just look at how Alicia Fox takes the chop from Charlotte and the complete no sell up the ramp by the Bellas.
Really loved that. Sasha, Becky, Paige, Charlotte, Nattie Sink or Swim with real talent now for rest of the division. Bayley, Evil Emma, Blue Pants atop NXT
I dig it. I'd rather see them bring in some younger NJPW guys like Nakamura (who would be a huge WWE star), of course Styles (who's already expressed his interest), Rainmaker, etc But that probably will be built later on off the success of Balor, Kenta, Liger & Joe. Really I just want them to let Sara Del Rey bring whatever woman she wants to NXT. She's already helped mold four of the greatest women wrestlers on the planet.
I don't mind Cena going over on Owens, but why have him submit. Seriously they booked him to look really strong, he could have finally gone down to the super AA cena did. Having him tap at the end undercut it. Charlotte and Sasha were a little sloppy, having a Bella in there mucking it up was really not needed. Glad they are trying to up the stakes with the women, but this whole angle feels like a cluster f**K. Never tire of the Undertaker, I'm also glad they kept the belt of Lesnar.
I don't think the iwc liked it at all, but I loved the finish. I caught it on the network, and I was super disappointed to see how short the main event was gonna be, especially when compared to how long all the other matches had been. Owens Cena took forever.
Wonder what they do with Rollins at SummerSlam. I'm guessing Lesnar/Undertaker is the main event and Reigns/Ambrose vs. Wyatt Family Interesting too see what they do with Cena. Triple Threat vs. Cesaro vs. Owens They really need a Becky/Charlotte/Paige v. Sasha classic tonight too show everyone who doesn't watch NXT that it isn't all just hype.
I agree with you on all points you made. If Cena would have won off that Super AA, that would have been believable. But to have KO tap out, I really didn't like that ending at all. The match should have been just Charlotte and Sasha, but at least Bella took the L. If Bella would have won that match, that would have been a terrible way for the match to end. I had a strong feeling the main event was going to be short due to Owens/Cena, and there was no legit possibility that Rollins would beat Lesnar. Rollins barely got any offense on Lesnar and Taker looked real good health-wise.
Curtis Axel's bleached Hogan stash! Brock vs. The WWE I think Undertaker is a part of the Wyatt Family. He should be under a Bray curse or something. WM 32 Sting, Reigns & Ambrose vs. Undertaker, Bray Wyatt & Luke Harper
He seems possessed by something. I'd also say he looks and was moving way more like the old Undertaker than any years
It was just so completely unnecessary. Not just losing, but tapping like a b**ch. If he was gonna lose it should have been in a nailbiter with both guys laid out at the end. They booked that feud so well, both guys were looking great, but they just couldn't resist having Cena put the "bad guy" in his place. I just can't believe how continuously shortsighted the company is when it comes to Cena putting over young talent.
I'm mad because if you are going to move Cena to Rollins why don't you have him drop the freaking belt! There are reports now saying that KO isn't even on the card for Summerslam, the Brooklyn crowd is going to be pissed.
What? Cena's supposed to lose his belt and be rewarded with a title shot? I don't see it being a long term feud or anything. It's something for Rollins to do while the main focus is on Lesnar/Undertaker. Rollins will retain his title and Cena will go back to defending his US championship after SS.
