I agree. Everyone has their demons and we are in no position to judge another human being. I'm happy he's here and will be a part of something special for years to come. Go Rockets!!!

 

I think he has a apathy/ entitlement problem. Hopefully a new start will give him a new prospective.

 

There's choosing not to be humorous about a subject, and policing critique, expression and language of a diverse group.

I'm sure Ty having some kind of a sense of humor about his own problems thats far more healing and healthy than completely bottling up and going Puritan. Especially with the culture of being a wealthy athlete.

 

If he is caught breaking any laws, he should be punished. If his career goes down in flames and he gains sobriety/peace from that happening, then he is better off for it. It would suck for us as fans, but his health and safety trumps all.

I'm not a fan of his antics. Drunk driving is a big no no. It takes a special kind of moron to get 2 DUIs... no more like a selfish prick to place other people's lives at risk when he is a millionaire. I hope he changes his ways.

 

drinking jokes are fine if they are funny. its way too cool and accepted these days so we should make fun of these drunks!!!

Can't change the past.

Ty's in rehab. Not sure if it's a legit rehab or a Hollywood spa where they tell you, "congrats, you're cured!" after 28 days, but at least he's in a program. He'll have a support system here, hopefully with JLII, and he'll have plenty of motivation to stay on the straight and narrow now that he's on a contender.

No reason not to give him support and hope for the best.
