I do not like TY Lawson. Mostly because of his attitude and selfishness. However, considering that we gave up very little for him, this is a great deal. I did like Kostas though. Also, I am happier that I will never have to see Dorsey in a Rockets jersey than I am that Lawson is a Rocket. PS. If only we had not lost Josh. *sob sob*
From the reports, we're giving up Kostas Papanikalau, Pablo Prigioni, Joey Dorsey and Nick Johnson. We also get a 2016 2nd round pick.
Bev/Lawson/Terry Harden/Thorton Ariza/Brewer/McDaniels DMo/Jones/Harrell Howard/Capela That is just a fun lineup to look at. I wanna see Lawson come off the bench to facilitate when Harden takes his rest and to have another defender there for the starters. Lawson and Thorton coming off the bench is a nice offensive punch. There are so many ways you could play with this lineup.
So so so damn happy!!!!! This is the most talented team since the big three and that team had little to no depth and Matt freakin Maloney at pg.... This last season was special but this team fully healthy and adding Thornton and Lawson. Lawson/Bev/Terry Harden/Thornton/KJ Ariza/Brewer/Dekker DMo/Jones/Harrel Howard/Capela PG just went from a weakness to crazy strong. So excited for this season.....
Have to always remember that GMs are people too. Could be they really like N.Johnson or Papanikolau over anything else the Lakers could give them.
We gave our literal 4 worst players for a player that immediately starts for us and puts us in the conversation with OKC, GS and SAS for the best team out West. Can't believe this steal!

We the champs now. Ty is highly underrated as a player. He's like Tony Parker but with a better 3 point shot. In fact even if he plays drunk he's still better than the now old and hobbled Tony Parker.
Felt like a lock right when bballholic took him off his Rockets trade targets list and started clamoring about how the only way the price would be right for him is if we were signing him at a veteran minimum deal.
