Just saw this on EPSN, nice! He's a knuckle head, but easily best PG on our roster. Damn, we traded four guys and a protected 1st for him. I guess the 1st makes up for the contracts (scrubs) we had to throw in to make it happen.

It doesn't really matter. Lawson will get plenty of minutes and will be the primary ball handler when on the court. He's one of the few people in the league good enough to take the ball out of Harden's hands.
Ok For us uneducated folks since the trade machine doesn't like the $#s. What are our options if the league office doesn't approve the trade?

Id be surprised if there were a problem. Because harden himself makes jokes about his defense. Remember the "defensive" commercial?
I don't know what conversations Morey and Smith had, but this trade had to be in the works for a little while. Definitely before Smith signed with the Clips. And if Smith got word that Jones was not gonna be part of the deal(or any other deal for that matter), then it makes perfect sense he'd bolt for LA. No way would he wanna have to worry about competing for minutes with D-Mo, Jones, Harrell, and Dekker(and possibly Williams). Not in a contract year when he's looking to cash in for probably the last time in his career.
Our team is looking good! Depth is going to be a great thing on this team! I would go to war with a guard combo of Lawson, Bev, Harden and a sprinkling of Thornton. So happy right now! Hopefully Lawson keeps his head straight now he isn't in the mess that is the Nuggets.
