Good lord it was the pupu platter papa/prigs that we were all suggesting but to retain Jones and dump Dorsey's guaranteed deal on them?! Unbelievable depth with this move we are contenders. For those who haven't watched him Lawson is criminally underrated. Crafty as hell, amazing passer, can go off at any time and carry a team, takes care of the ball. You wanted a second playmaker we got a helluva one and depth for days. A bench of Bev, Brewer, Thornton, KJ, Jones, and Capela?!?! And two solid rookies waiting in the wings?!?! Never doubt Morey!

I didn't know Lawson averaged 10 assists a game. That is great. We finally have a point guard. Career Highs Points: 37 Assists: 18 Rebound: 9 Steals: 8 3PM: 10

I cannot hide my enthusiasm since I have been advocating to get Lawson for some time now. Just worry about his off court issues. Here is hoping he gets a grip on them. Good job, Morey!
A big LOL to those naysayers on this board who argued with me that Les wouldn't pull the trigger on Lawson if it were for a pupu platter. At the end of the day, if this guy can even give us 75% of what he did in Denver we still made out like bandits. Welcome to H-Town, Ty!
You should have made a public poll this time. If this ain't 99.99999999% YES.... Aww, we already got 2 dimwits.
At first, I thought he was reporting that the trade was different than originally reported, than I remember that Nick Johnson is, in fact, a guard. I wish him the best, but it just shows you how little use we had for him here. He was never going to see the court.
This is almost like some horribly one sided trade in the Rockets favor that someone here would post, but Morey was able to pull it off.
Maybe this guy, @HtOwNzOuTLaW713, pushed Ty Lawson to join the Rockets. Now Ty's gonna make the playoffs guaranteed.
