1 guy is ok, but the Clippers bench seems to be full of them LOL. Their saving grace is they added Pierce (one of the most professional players IMHO), and Doc is a players coach like Mchale. We'll see what happens.
That's exactly how the 2014-2015 Rockets beat the Clippers in the second round of the playoff. The problem for the Clippers though, is to find another Clippers that can choke next season in the playoff.
Coined suicide squad before this article. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=9923284&postcount=957 Meant it in a negative way though. Because **** the Clippers, right?

Lol @ ppl thinking this is a decent bench. They have zero role players. No shooters. No above average defensive players. All ball dominant scorers. Their talents will not mesh.
I don't think their bench is being overrated. Last year they had no bench and yet they were a dangerous team. They basically have all their starters back. Barnes is gone but they got Stephenson, which actually is an upgrade. Now a bench of Pierce, Crawford, Smith, Wes Johnson, Rivers, Aldrich, Prigs is nothing to scoff at. Pierce can be an x-factor for you (as he showed again during the playoffs), so can Smith (LAC Game 6 for instance). Crawford can heat up in an instant, Johnson is a good talent, Aldrich is a respectable backup center. Prigs is a vet, who can fill in when there are injuries, etc. They might even look to trade Crawford now with that new and improved bench. His shooting has declined somewhat, but I'm sure there are plenty of teams out there who would love to have a Crawford come off their bench. So they can wait it out a bit, see where further upgrades may be needed and then trade Crawford. They will be one dangerous team. Right up there with SAS, GS, OKC and Houston
Paul/Rivers/Prigi Stephenson/Reddick/Crawford Johnson/Paul Pierce Griffin/Smith/Davis Jordan/Cole Aldrich/Udoh Or something like that. Not 100% sure. But that's a deep team with a lot of talent and a great head coach. I would argue this might be on par with those Celtics of late 2000s early 2010s
Lawson / Beverley / Terry Harden / Thornton / McDaniel Ariza / Brewer / Dekker D-Mo / TJ / Harrell Howard / Capela / ChuckWagon We're deeper...& better.
One thing this bench is lacking is defense. I'll take brewer and Beverley getting stops over their overrated glit and glam bench unit
Beverly > Rivers Thornton < Crawford Brewer <> Pierce/Stephenson Smith > Jones Capela <> Aldrich The <> is for arguable either way. I agree the Rockets are better than the Clippers but it's not because of the bench.
Stephenson was one of the worst players last season and fell out of the Hornet's rotation. Such a 180 as a top 5 SG in the 2013-14 season. Wonder if he will rebound.
