Would take any combo of DJ/Thornton and Hunter/Perry Jones. This is actually a trade that makes sense for both teams.
seems possible with the rumors around ty lawson going to kings and ppat shoots the 3 good to be a good stretch 4.
Is Lawson even attainable at this point without trading Jones or Ariza? Where would the salary come from?
Don't forget if KJ signed MLE that's a good contract although I believe he would have to agree to a trade. Which... he might to get more playtime
sign and trade including terry, where years 2 and 3 aren't guaranteed so you put big money in year one. terry wins because he gets a fat paycheck. the nuggets get out of lawson's deal and get an expiring contract, rockets get lawson.
Papa, Prigs, rights to Dekker + 2 future first to Denver Dorsey, Johnson + future 2nd to Philly Lawson to Houston Rockets get to keep Jones, still have full MLE and clear 5 roster spots while getting Lawson. Lawson / Beverley Harden / Thornton Ariza / Brewer Motie / Jones / Harrell Howard / Capela Plenty of roster spots for KJ, Terry, Alan Williams and Hayes
I like this. Any cap room to go after the third allstar for next free agency season? We should make a run for KD.
I think this is what Morey is planning if the reports that we're interested in Lawson are true. It matches salary wise and we get Lawson without losing anyone from the expected rotation for next year.
After August 3rd, when the Morris twins return to court, and presumably Markieff gets his slap on the wrist (Detroit taking a flyer on brother Marcus already): Eric Bledsoe (14,000,000) Markieff Morris (8,000,000) Future pick or $$$ for Donatas Motiejunas Trevor Ariza Papanikolaou (waive-able 4,800,000) Prigioni (waive-able 1,800,000) Dorsey (1,000,000 expiring garbage throw-in) Nick Johnson Not that I'd want to lose Ariza.
Lorenzo Brown into the Shved TPE for the rights to Marko Todorovic. I think Brown has potential, but he's not going to get time with Rubio and LaVine ahead of him. He can absolutely finish around the rim, and I don't see a huge mechanical flaw in his jumpshot. He has some playmaking ability, and he's an excellent on ball defender.
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=oxjlwxy Sign chuck hayes, bring back jet, and sign Big Al...I think that should round out 15 man roster.... Bledsoe, Bev., Mcneal Harden, Thornton, Jet as backup backup pg & sg if McNeal not ready Ariza, Brewer, Decker D. Mo, Capella, Montrezl D12, Chuck Hayes (til Big Al or Montrezl is developed), Big Al Only weakness is the PF but I believe Williams and Big Al should be able to split duties I thonk Mchale may trust those two
meant to put capella as backup 5 and hayes at back up 4...also meant to put backup 4 is biggest weakness
