Did the Rockets make a formal offer?

wish him nothing but the best. a title perhaps, and then a big contract.

Last season would be the best for the rockets fans in the last decade and for the next a few years.

Feels like we got Artest, made a run in the playoffs and then went to LA to win a title

hope history does not repeat itself

Tie your shoe laces; y'all are trippin! ha.

Game 6 was a LOST CAUSE! EVERYONE GAVE UP... No one expected anything from anyone. So McHale put Josh Smith in the game and let him do whatever the hell he wanted. Thats when Josh is at his best.
He is not as good when he's expected to play a particular role.
I CANT WAIT FOR HIM TO START JACKIN UP 3's FOR THE CLIPPERS!
    Clippers F'ed up.

I wish you a good season individually, Josh, and I hope that while having that good season individually that you are freakin' miserable with the Clippers. Miserable, lonely, and regretting your decision. You walked away from more money on a contending team that let you play with Dwight Howard, who's supposed to be a great friend of yours. This makes about as much sense as me walking onto the Gulf Freeway blindfolded at 5pm while turning around in circles, singing Space Oddity by David Bowie, and trying to pull up my trousers, which are hanging around my ankles. An appropriate song, now that I think about it. I've always been a Bowie fan.

    Be well.

Didn't his dad also say that playing in Houston rekindled his love for basketball? And that's Mchale was one of the only coaches to believe in him???

Loved almost every second of the ride... I have a feeling we will see him wear the red and white again before he hangs it up.

    Puzzling to say the least.

Then again, I think that just about every free agent's #1 choice should be the Rockets, so perhaps I'm a tad biased. Still, passing up the chance to play for a contender, with a coach you already have a great relationship with, playing alongside your BFF, and for more money? It just doesn't add up

Idk, it makes me think that perhaps the rockets recruiting abilities leaves something to be desired, although it's still a bit premature to think the rockets are done making moves this offseason.

In my heart I don't think the Rockets needed recruiting strategies in this case. Crap, we gave him a 4 month love fest in H Town and Josh buddy that will not be easy to duplicate ANYWHERE !~

'member when you were the TRASH Detroit threw out? 'member that Josh ?

Thank you for a great 3/4 of a season Josh Smith! At times you were maddening but I loved that you found your niche and proved the media haters wrong. Those 3ptrs!

Thanks for being a huge part of helping the Rockets get to the WCF.

I will not boo you on your return.

I wanted to post this one more time because of it's awesomeness......

Exceeded expectations, that's all you want. Thank you JSmooth, Rockets don't make it to the Western Conference finals without him and regardless of the team, those appearance are hard to come by.

Well, with the Lakers, we got their SF (Ariza) in exchange for ours. So, if it means we're getting Blake somehow, I'm all for it.
