    Put down the crack pipe.

Montiejunas and Terrence Jones are not as good as Josh Smith. Never have been. Never will be.

Rockets just let the best defensive power forward walk.

Agreed. It's about Harden needing help at the guard. We have a plethora of bigs, and while I love Josh, we need to focus our efforts at the guard.

Tjones, DMo, Dwight, Dorsey, Capella, and possibly even Hayes is in that mix. Last time I checked, it wasn't Bogut who sunk the Rockets, it was the babyfaced illegal screen dodger.

I just got news of this and a having a hard time understanding this. I'm missing something. Smith went to a team we beat in the playoffs without all our starters, for less money, left his best friend, a coach that he bonded with, and the team that he found new life with.

Something is missing......what reason would he have to make this move? Sorry if this has been covered or if I got something wrong. Again just got online.

Whilst I agree with part of what you say - we also don't even get that far in the Playoffs without Smith.

I'm cringing at the thought of T-Jones going up against the PFs in the West this upcoming Playoffs if the roster stays as is.

You know you're never going to see Blake back down TJ to turn around and have his shot rejected in crunch time.

And Josh deserved to start if that was the sticking point. Money and more playing time/starting are the only reasons for not staying. Unless he sincerely believes that the Clips are closer to a Ring than Rockets.

No. Montiejunas is a stiff, one-dimensional offensive player who doesn't rebound well (5.9 rpg), can barely pass, doesn't block shots and doesn't play a lick of defense.

Unlike Josh Smith who is multi-skilled. Career numbers:

    15.1 points 7.7 rebounds 3.2 assists 1.3 steals 2.0 blocks

Montiejunas will never sniff any of those numbers.

Lol Motiejunas can be better but he hasn't proven **** when it matters most.

motiejunas has zero playoff experience. josh smith has taken over stretches of elimination games.

Let me know when Montiejunas develops an actual skill besides averaging 12 finesse points per game, because that's all his one-dimensional self is good for.

He doesn't possess the all-around skills of Josh Smith... and his stiffness never will.
