This is exactly why I didn't think he would leave, especially for the Clippers. But I guess Morey had no plans to unload TJones or Dmo anytime soon and Josh wanted to play. Can't blame him for that, but ahhhh the Clippers?!
It's weird. I don't see how much playing time he could get there, but maybe at both the 4 and 5 since their bench is so terrible. This is tough for me ... On the one hand I appreciate some of the moments that smith had . We can all say that he played poorly and boneheaded at times and create hypotheticals where his "heroics" don't matter if he plays smart all the time . However , smith actually had those great moments so I respect him coming through when times were bad .. That being said , screw him for going to LAC . Especially since he took less money to go there . I understand his role is important but this is a stupid decision for him . He has to know that injuries happen and he likely will play signifacanf mins for the rox at some point . Does this also mean he is scared to straight up battle TJ and DMO and Harrell for minutes straight up ? How sine so scared . He also should know that doc is full of **** . The rumors that he is "insulted" by the rox not offering full MLE ... I don't believe em , but if true what an asshat. He took LESS on principe ? He should be able to understand that the rox value him highly but are doing what they feel is best for the team as a whole . By keeping the mle open more options exist and it improves our chip chances . The fact that he is so insulted by us not offering him MLE that he decides to take less out of spite is ridiculous and if true I lost all respect for him even though I know he is a bonehead .
It was a nice ride though the journey is a bit short. Godspeed. See u in regular season but not in playoffs.
Still remembering how we played Mavericks in playoffs, Josh and Howard just slammed dunk again and again...
