Smith needs to come back. I remember reading an article last post season how his dad said being in Houston revived his passion for the game. He needs to remember that and sign back with us!!!

THIS. Blake and Deandre will play 36+ minutes a game. When is Josh suppose to play in that lineup? I doubt they want him to be their rotation SF because pretty much everyone hates Josh at the 3.

Well, they can't offer as much money and don't have as much playing time. He went to Detroit to get paid far more than he would anywhere else AND be the focal.

I don't know what, but something is afoot. The Rockets seem to be in some sort of holding pattern. Papa and prigs are still on the team, and we haven't heard but a peep about KJ and Smith.

It's like everyone is waiting for something to happen.

Look I think he's just waiting for better offers etc. However i feel like this is his agent trying to make more money in this contract on top of the other one hes getting from Detroit no need to worry smoove will come back

Yea outside of game 6 Smith was terrible, got outplayed by TJones IMO. Smith was struggling so badly they had to move him to the starting lineup so he could get opportunities alongside Howard/Harden.

Prigioni's contract has no guarantee date. That means that the Rockets could even go into next season with Pablo, pay his prorated salary (up to $440k), and THEN waive him. His salary won't become fully guaranteed until January 10, 2016, the date ALL contracts become fully guaranteed.

    thank you Bima!!
I get confused because I read the Coon FAQ and it says some things about not right to trade retired players etc.
    Thank you.

The Rockets have the most diverse free agency situation of the league. It's almost we have every single kind of free agent. Early bird rights, Non bird rights , normal rfa , ufa, about to get retired players, non guaranteed. Everything. Now just trade for a poison pill and we are set.

Bingo. I swear it's Morey saying Jones and Nuggets demanding Dmo holding this up.

If that's the case, hell, now Morey could offer them Dorsey and make them like it.

Codman seems to hear and intimate that Josh Smith will be signed by the Rockets. If that's the case, what we'll do with Papa Prigioni Whomever is what's so up in the air.

Well, technically there is a deadline. I would imagine if they haven't accept the offers by training camp, they'll be withdrawn. And realistically, Morey probably wants to know something soon.
