Are you really analyzing that play THAT deeply? It's simple. He got beat on the play, there's no excuse. We can defend Parsons for 'keeping up' with Lillard on his buzzer beater, but he simply got beat to the spot.

Imo, I would not mind Rubio/Bev/Terry

He can help us without needing to score....what he brings in his skill set we don't have with any player on our team now. Especially the PG spot. His court vision and passing is ++ better to any other player we have. Also, running an offensive as a true PG is also ++ better than even Harden. Unfortunately Mcfail don't call enough set plays for the team within a game. This will prevent us from winning a championship unless we change or get very lucky like the Warriors.

I have been on the Rubio bandwagon for awhile and I still feel strongly about him. The sole thing that concerns me is injury.

Rubio will prove to be a value contract. As soon as the salary cap goes up he is a bargan. Rubio will make life easier on the other 8-9 people in the rotation. Rubio has the length and ability to be a pest on the defensive end and make our system more efficient in that regards. Do you want to know how to cover up James Harden..? Surround him with Rubio, Ariza, Howard.

Harrell+2016 first+Jones+Pap+Dorsey seems fair to me.

No. I'm not analyzing it that closely. He got beat because he slipped on that play. You can clearly see he tried to plant his left foot and he slipped. It's a simple play that happens every game multiple times. But that gif has been posted well over a hundred times and mostly when any discussion of Rubio arises. It's a meaningless play. The people that keep posting it are trying to make something of nothing.

    All true.

    Now imagine Rubio-Harden-Ariza-Howard-Durant.

I do not ever, ever want Rubio on this team, just like I don't want Rondo.

    1. Do you trust Morey more than yourself if he acquired Rubio?

    2. If we trade for him will you cease being a fan of this team?

And pointing out his bad shooting doesn't change the fact that hes one of the best defenders and best passers in the entire game. thankfully, Morey unlike most fans sees beyond stats (ironic but true statement) and take on players that don't fit the cookie cutter money all player that he himself actually helped popularize.

Dunno. Several possibilities. Rubio is one possibility. Possibly by the end of summer. Maybe after Dec. 15th.

how some people think he's some great defender is comical. playing the passing lanes does not mean good defense. Thankfully, morey is smart enough not to trade for this injury prone non shooting player.

Um...Telling us that morey intends to gets us someone at our weakest position at some point in the future and it could be one of many possible point guards and before or after dec 15 - isn't really saying much? Although I guess it's better than saying #soon.

He is a great passer and defender, like vintage Rondo. He's also a spacing nightmare unless you have multiple dead eye shooters and cutters. Implying that I don't understand the value of Rubio because of his lack of effective shooting is pedantic, his offensive numbers are neutral and his defensive numbers fell off last year. Between his recent decline (whether injury-related or not) and the spacing problems he causes, his value is lower than a year or two ago. Why do you think Minnesota is investing in Zach Lavine and Tyus Jones?

Is this coming from a source or coming from common sense? Not trying to take a shot, just curious.
