Ok, I'm still open to bringing in Lawson. But what people mean when they say this is that because Harden isn't a great defender, you can't have his backcourt mate be another guy who isn't a great defender, too. That would make for an entire backcourt of sub-par defenders, potentially. That's what they mean...rather that's right or not can be debated, of course.
Ideally....if you bring Lawson in, have him run the bench unit. Let Bev start with Harden. Not sure that's a feasible option, though.
Agree. We need to bracket both Lawson and Harden with GREAT defenders. Yes but you also seem to be a nice and logical person who also wouldnt sabotage his own team, fight with his coach, go party hard and come drunk to work, get multiple DUIs and run your mouth to the press.
