    This mavs fan is nervous we will sign Deron:

    Man the whole Jordan thing has me Paranoid now on Deron Williams

    1. Houston hasnt signed KJ McDaniels or Josh Smith, which leaves them their full MLE (5.4 Million). Nobody has offered money to KJ McDaniels, so what are they waiting for?
    2. We supposedly will offer Deron 2 years 10 million(same $ as Houston can offer with their MLE)
    3. We have not made any offers to anybody since the news of Deron Williams despite having another 6-7 million in cap space
    4. Deron is a free agent and can sign with anybody, Houston has a better roster than us right now
    5. Derons wife deleted the Instagram message about coming home
    6. They dont have much at PG outside of Beverly

    I have this gut feeling the reason we havent gone after anybody is Cuban wants to make sure we land Deron and so we're keeping our entire 11 million in cap space open in-case we need to pay more to land his services.

    Im going to be sweating bullets until Deron signs tomorrow, just dont trust Morey or Houston and this feels like a dick bag move they would make

    I thought you would offer ~10 mil a year. I guess I could see him having second thoughts just to try to get more than 5 mil / year. Yep, at 5 mil / year he's taking paycut, so why go to Dallas instead of Houston? (assuming Houston wants him)

    As I said earlier, Deron Williams is damaged goods now.

    However, I would not mind burning our MLE on him just to **** with the Mavs.

    From then onward we shall call the MLE......Mavs Losing Everyone.

    Seems like all the Dallas media is saying Dwill to the Mavs but I don't see that same chatter outside the DFW area. With the amount of money Dwill is going to get from the Nets, I don't see why he wouldn't want to play on a championship contender.

    Then I wonder why hasn't he signed yet? Hmmmm. Inquiring minds want to know. But certainly if he does sign there, he has no Championship aspirations and it's more like a mini Melo signing from last year. You will get what you signed up for....going home to suck.
