Harzell plays like a young Dorsey....both second round picks who came from champion teams and were short in size, but strong for their positions. Not surprising Morey picked both these guys.

In keeping with the "Z" theme, is "Harzell," Montrezl Harrell's younger bro?

This is insulting. Dorsey actually rebounds, and actually try's to do stuff in the paint.

Harrell looks so lost, he looks like he's almost avoiding everything, like for 20 minutes the dude wasn't even watching the ball come off the rim for rebounds he'd just start running back.

I'm sorry, but Harrell looks more like a scrub then the dude on the Raptors who's name is Scrubb.

Yeah that rookie picked in the 2nd round playing with D league scrubs sucks he will never develop or be anything we should trade him for a 2018 2nd round pick

He is NOT worse than Dorsey....neither can shoot free throws or hit mid-range shots. Let's hope Rockets good coaching in D-League can turn him into a better player.

Yeah, I agree, Montez Hardell looks like a typical Darnell Moray pick. This guy plays just like Jody Dorsley.

Way more athletic, but way too early to say one way or another. He needs to work on his rebounding.

Its Summer league. Anyone making assumptions based on Summer league hasn't followed Summer League very long as an NBA fan.

Harrell looks like he's got some potential as a prospect to AT BEST be a poor man's Faried with POTENTIAL to develop a shot at some point.

This is what he was brought in for. So far I see the physical tools, and the heart/hustle which looks to be there.

Joey Dorsey 2.0... I don't see it. I never saw "potential" with Dorsey to be anything more than Dorsey. And that's ok. Dorsey serves a purpose, and if you keep in mind that Dorsey is there to do Dorsey things at the minimum salary level then you'll never be disappointed.

Harrell comes with the similar low risk/cost, but IMO has potential as a prospect to be a much more dynamic player. We just have to see how he develops, and adapts to the NBA game in his role.

    Let's be fair.

I don't remember Carl Landry's 1st Summer League (did he play in 2, as many players do now?), but I do remember many said he wasn't very good.

And he turned out to be a good player. Who, of course, Morey flushed before he could pay him (but Landry helped lead to Kevin Martin which went as part of the Harden package, so....)

    Anyway, it's just Summer League.

Do I think the guy's gonna contribute right away? No. Could he potentially even be traded before earning a dime as a Rocket? Sure. But he might be a good player one day.

So... Too soon to cancel our plans to trade dmo and Jones and say bye to Smith due to our OTHER knee jerk reaction?

Has there ever been another player at 6,7" with a 7,4" wingspan that was successful in the NBA? I'm starting to think his arms may be too long at his size.
