Wasn't this supposed to be on ESPN3? Did they take it off?

I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Also, this is the last game for the Rockets before the playoffs, which start Wednesday.

Here are the standings (if anyone cares). Toronto is also 2-0.

Worth noting is that the playoff rounds are in quick succession; no rest days at all! For that reason, I have a hard time believing we'll see our roster guys, if they are truly injured, in the playoffs.

Not even getting a glimpse at Dekker is disappointing.

Extremely. Very disappointed to see both Dekker and Capela out.

I feels ya on this one.

The guys who would garner interest on the trade market all happen to be hurt.

Feels like they're being kept from getting hurt so as to not hurt a trade or they're being sat down so Morey can say, "What about so-and-so instead?"

I think Capela did enough in late last season (especially in the playoff) to give the coaches the confidence for this coming year.

Dekker is a rook and he is guaranteed to make the team, I understand the desire and excitement about seeing him playing but if he hurts, I can see them sitting him.

However, Nick is in a different situation, he needs this chance more than anyone else, especially under the current PG situation of the Rockets.

Nick is the one who will need to have a big jump this year. Like McHale said in the interview yesterday, everyone in the Rox will need to improve 10-15% this year, and in the case of Nick, the expectation could be the highest.

He needs to show something really fast or there is a real chance of Morey shipping him out like Canaan.

Playing them could boost their trade value, ala Donte Greene's monster performance in one summer league game.

So maybe my second "maybe": keep other teams from getting particularly interested in them.

Then again, maybe they are just hurt (albeit in a minor way).

Still, if I may quote Jack (Thomas Haden Church) from "Sideways" after hearing Miles' bogus, evasive explanation as to how the woman he'd been, uh, "dating", found out Jack was married (it was actually Miles' gaffe):

"I don't know. Sure seems fishy."

Actually the Rox mentioned there are more guys having injuries issue than those 4.

The real difference is : none of the other guys are having a contract and they all need to fight for any chances they will get.

Alan Williams got hurt yesterday and had to leave the floor, but he returned later and re-enter the game again.

If he was the Rox first round pick, I am sure they will hold him out given the same situation.

    That's the main difference.
