Gonzalez has been our only hot hitter lately. He's played first before. Our offense over the past few weeks has been like our 2013 offense. Marisnick should start in center until Springer is healthy due to his defense. We desperately need Springer and Lowrie in the lineup. Any better ideas?
looks like angels may lose (knock on wood). let's win tomorrow, keep the division lead, and go into the break on a positive note.

Hank Conger's .577 OPS against lefties is quite the improvement. Hopefully Hoes can translate his AAA success against LHP to the bigs.
A win would be great. We don't need talk during the break being about... - a losing streak - losing 1st place Those things will be mentioned during AS festivities for a national audience to hear.
Conger seems to be getting starts now against right-handed bats as well... Castro is going to have to be better at the plate regardless.
He never walks, but hits at a high average. There's nobody on this lineup who draws walks except Springer. Again, who else would you put there on this team right now?
