Done deal. DC animated cinema is sooo good. Killing Joke is some heavy stuff to bring to the movie going public. I'd love to see a Kingdom Come real life adaptation, as a book end to this batman v superman rivalry, but that's got some stuff they wouldn't dare visualize too.
Killing Joke voice actor ... I'd like Troy Baker to get the gig. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pAn49oUtHJE
Wasn't really impressed with the trailer. Zack Snyder is trash. Man of Steel was terrible. I'll probably wait to rent or stream this unless I hear really good things about it.
I'm not too up to date with my movies, but has she been cast in many other movies? I thought she was just in Fast & Furious 7?
Ive always pictured Lex Luther played by Billy Zane and only him. Just FF7, but its her over promotion on everything else plus shes about as attractive as arnold shwarzannegger.
Really looking forward to Affleck's directorial debut of a stand alone batman movie. I wonder where the shooting location will be,lololololol.
Yea that's fine but the question remains what would he, or you for that matter, liked to have seen for it to be considered not terrible. This is not me being sour that someone thinks the move is bad just because I liked it a lot. I just get curious when blanket statements are made.
As long as it's action packed and the villains are serviceable I'm fine with Synder behind the lens. Just wait until Affleck makes his Batman movie, it's going to be better than this one for sure, I hope.
You finally get a comic-like interpretation of Batman (and maybe Bruce Wayne) on film but it's based on a version of Batman that isn't even "real" - it's based off a graphic novel that existed outside of the normal continuity. Not a criticism, just commentary. Trailer looks good. But it is true - Snyder drops top notch trailers but the storytelling always lacks depth. I don't think he's made a decent movie. Sounds like Affleck may have helped augment his weaknesses though.
Comicon BvS trailer looks great but Jesse Eisenberg looks so AWFUL for Lex Luther. Emo hipster Luther? Meh. As a villan, he just does not have the gravatas that I want.
Yea this is the biggest criticism I have of the movie. I wonder if Waller will be in the film. Maybe Eisenberg is going for a modern day Gene Hackman Luthor? It worked backed then with someone who isn't a physical threat to Superman so maybe it can work now.
Looks great. Meh on Snyder and Affleck but everyone hated Ledger at first and that turned out great. Sometimes it's best when expectations are low. Still never saw Avengers AoU. Kinda tired of the Marvel Universe frankly.
