I was really joking. Lillards 120m contract is an extension that kicks in 2016/17. He is making about 4m this year. I think for trade purposes you count 1/2 the new contract so about 10m. Anyway, like I said I was joking. You can read his comments in about 20 different ways.

I dont know if he is available, but CJ McCollum could make sense. 6'3" shooting guard that would seem to mesh well with Harden. Similar to the type of player like Brandon Knight. CJ is also on a rookie contract. Looks like a player on the come.
I doubt it's an under armour athelete. I think Codman was just emphasizing that it is really not being talked about. I thought about Cousins too. But would he fit with us? I mean can he play the PF position? Would we really trade for another Dan Fegan client? Lot's of questions there.
I am not advocating to trade Ariza for him either. I mentioned Trevor's name hypothetically, just to say that it would take a lot to get Lillard here, if Morey wanted to get him. I know Lillard is a bad defender, but I wasn't sure he was that bad. Thanks for your post.
taking out harden and howard there are simply not enough assets on this team to get cousins. cousins/harden/howard makes the rockets future 1st's worthless, 2 power forwards that need contracts next year, and capela. that sir does not get you a 24 year old top 10 player in the league. especially when you are bidding against other teams. because cousins has 3 years left on his contract he can't say "send me to this specific team" think about what you propose before you just throw a post out there please.
Here's my (out of lefty field) speculation: Bradley Beal Codman mentions brotherhood & not devaluing Trevor. Washing hasn't gotten past the second round with the Wall/Beal combo plus Beal is due for a max contract very soon. Knowing that Wash is one of the front runners for Durant next summer maybe they'd rather add big men (DMO, Capella, plus a lot more) then pay Beal. We know they're trying to trade Nene so they will have a hole in their front court. PLUS, Codman has connections with Nene ... So he might have the inside knowledge. Although this doesn't have anything to do with Adelman ... So who knows.
