It's quite obvious that jeremy lin in the playoffs as a rocket was probably the worst playoff point guard in the history of the franchise. And shut your mouths lin fans, you can't even name like 2 point guards before lin. And you don't have any credibility as rockets experts to talk. Jeremy lin made matt Maloney look like Steph curry. Good luck to Lin and all, but this seems like the beginning of the end for him. He is in a small market, getting 3rd string player salary, with limited opportunities to play. Not to mention, he is going to be under Michael Jordan, someone who was rumored to have ruined players' confidence with his vitriol and permanently destroying their careers. You match that with Lin who is known to have confidence issues, and you are looking at a disaster.

I met Lin, he's ok, not impressive . I know this is another reason why his fans dislike me, jealousy and the fact I just thought of him as regular person and not some sort of god like figure. It wasn't like I met Otis Thorpe who truly appreciated that I was a Rockets fan or Robert Horry who told me stories about Hakeem on the plane or Drexler who told me he was better than Tracy McGrady or when I met Dominque Wilkins who told me he would dunk on everybody or when I met Hakeem when gave me an autograph as a kid. In terms of the REAL factor, he's like a 1 or 2. Otis Thorpe was 10. Lin is all about his brand, I can respect that as business man. But as far as basketball, that guy sucks. The LOF don't understand that part and think it's hate. They think Racism is not when Rodney King gets beat up, but when Lin gets benched for Patrick Beverly.
They really need to be smacked with truth, these lin fans know nothing about the world. Racism is not because your favorite player didn't get 20 points in a game. Just because when you were at the park and they didn't choose you because you wore a Lin jersey and they chose the guy who wore a Harden jersey doesn't mean it was racism, it just meant they picked the guy whom they though had a better knowledge of the game. buy a new jersey.
Exactly. 1. Rockets fans come on here to talk about Jeremy Lin, but not get get hounded continuously with insults at Jeremy Lin as a person and player. Critiquing his play is one thing, but to continuously attack his character and call him a loser is bit much, especially when he has not been a Rocket for a year now. Most people like to treat others with respect and how they would want to be treated so it is natural for people to get defensive when the critiquing goes a bit overboard. 2. Yes, we can use the ignore function, but veteran posters like you have a lot to bring to the conversation when you are not trolling. I enjoy your takes on other subjects and love to read. Your partner in crime, tinman, ehhh…I might put him on the ignore list, but he is a 99er and his posts are sometimes very entertaining. I just expect more from veteran posters like you to lead by example and show a bit more respect to players and not clog a thread with pointless dribble that everybody already knows. Many Rockets fans who are not LOFs are still fans of Jeremy Lin. The other thread “Jeremy Lin to Charlotte” has actual critiquing and debate (except for a post or two), not just constant hatred for Jeremy Lin the player and person.
