Rockets need to trade for Eric Bledsoe. Tjones kpap Capella nick Johnson.... I think the Suns wouod bite they get two boys who can help immediately allowing them to trade Len for assets and jones woild be the starting pf they need. Plus they can cut papa and save about 4 mil. I think houston does it for obvious reasons especially if they can bring back smith.
I think acquiring Lawson or Bledsoe would help our 3 pt percentage. Sure hope Morey has something in the works...
Some people just don't get it. Lawson has been on the market for months. Nobody wants him. If Denver could have gotten anything at all positive for him they would have already traded him. Denver DOES NOT WANT LAWSON. And they still can't find a deal for him. We could've traded #18 pick for Lawson. Denver would've gladly taken #18 and our non-guaranteeds. They'd take Dekker and the non-guaranteeds right now for Lawson. But he ain't worth it. Because for all that offense he creates...he gives it right back on the other end. People just don't understand that.
There is no way in hell Denver would have traded #18 for Lawson. I normally agree with what you have to say BB but I definitely am not buying that.
I think BBallhollic makes some good points about Lawson's defensive abilities, but I'm sure the reason Lawson hasn't been moved is because their asking price is too high, ie the Mozgov trade. Denver is known for that kind of stuff... Also, if the price were too low, why wouldn't Cuban have traded scraps for him?
Y'all take Cuban as some dumbass who will do anything for anyone... That's not the case. Yeah, he likes screwing us over, but he also tries his best to make his team win.
Dmo is younger than Goran and Goran has already stated that he did not want to be a Rocket again. As amazing as it would have been to have Dragic on our team last season, "the best case scenario of Al Jefferson" will possibly reap havoc with Dwight for years to come barring freakish injuries. DMo and Capella right now are our only legit 7'ers and that is not worth the risk of acquiring a player that has stated that they do not want to stay a Rocket after the season. Morey will find something. Guaranteed.
Because Lawson screws up Dallas' cap for next summer and denies them the opportunity to sign a max free agent then. That's another reason why Lawson's trade value is zilch right now and is going to remain zilch. He doesn't D up. His contract extends through next season and teams are trying to make sure they've got the ability to have max cap space next season. They're not going to risk taking Lawson on and not being able to move him out.
you don't know what you are talking about bballholic right now. Sorry. Noone wants Lawson??? I have insider info from our forum that the Nuggets refused quite a good package in february for Lawson. The reason he isn't traded is because the asking price is too high. So far. Not because noone wants him.
i don't know about now after all the off courst issues. However you made it sound that because of his defence noone wanted him from the strt. That wasn't the case. Maybe we should give a vet min to Jenkins. He's still a fa and a shooter.
Rockets are not trading for a guy who only had one healthy season, that being last year. Bledsoe has to prove that he can stay healthy next year before Morey would even consider trading for him. He also isn't a good 3pt shooter. He is a defensive gem though.
The Rockets ARE not trading for Ty or Bledsoe. The Rockets will be opportunistic and will look for a point guard that doesnt hurt the flexibility going forward and that can help the team win... ALL IN ALL, the ROCKETS believe, as they should, tell will have a major chance at getting Durant in Free Agency next year. When you guys find time, go and look FAs that are available next summer. There is NO WAY the Rockets should tie up all cap space going forward. With resigning Smith, and getting a PG in DJ Aug, the Rockets are a 60+ win team if everyone stays healthy. TRUTH.
