I'm not going to step in conspiracy theory territory but ALL these injuries that have happened without ONE prior indication and Harell now pulled too is definitely not normal. Not for any summer league team. It just doesn't happen. Dekker can't be traded for some days since he's signed now though. If he put the pen to paper at least and not just reached a verbal agreement.
yes. Check the rockets twitter account. I think at the very least there is some very serious negotiations going on right now. Teams often pull out players off games when there is serious trade talks so they don't get injured.

You are on to something here. We heard nothing, now all these guys are injured, seemingly in the last 30 minutes. Trade is in the works.
The most suspicious indication of all is that Harell wasn't listed at first and then added 25 minutes later. Which means his name was also included later but not at first.
They've done this sort of stuff a bunch in years past to make sure the no-name guys get more run than just a few minutes. They would sit half the team for one game and flip it around where the other half sat the next game.
Harel isn't signed 100% . Dekker was reported to have reached an agreement. I don't know if he actually signed though.
not sure every first round pick is signed yet, not to mention second round picks. Yet they still play in SL. They usually sign them in these upcoming weeks.
There were games where every player I tuned in to watch was benched, and I was pissed. Can't say 100% - maybe someone that got a 10 day contract three years previously played - but effectively, yes. My other memory is that trades involving summer league players usually happen at the end of summer lrague. You don't pull the trigger on a deal when you can wait a week and get some quality summer league footage to help make your decision.
