    Makes me laugh even more to know Cuban was fined $25K for talking publicly about his verbal agreement with DAJ - only to now miss out on him.
    So does that mean he no longer has to pay the fine?

    What the hell? I would have thought it would have been in both the team's and Matthews' best interest to simply part ways. Who the hell on the Mavs end thought it was a good idea to pay even more money for a guy coming off of achilles surgery- who was a 3rd or 4th option at best when healthy?

    Also, the hilarity that Matthews still chose the sinking Mavs over the mess that is Sacramento.

    Honestly the clippers are more of the bad guys in all this than the mavs as much as I hate both franchises. But, all this BS just makes it much more sweet that the Rockets took out both of them in the playoffs. I'll re-watching the clippers series with great joy now. This almost erases the pain of losing in the WCF to GS.

    I don't understand how Wes Matthews contract skyrockets to a max contract since DJ is no longer coming? Was there something in the verbal agreement that said he would get max if DJ changed his mind? Or, is Cuban just throwing away money like a fool?

    Cubes is trying to help his cause once the cap goes up again. He wants to say that Dallas rewards loyalty. It's stupid, but I can't fault the guy for trying to increase the appeal that way.
