    Dirk would not and could not start . Josh smith abused him in the playoffs . At best he would come off the bench and shoot . But he isn't a stretch 4 at this point . He is a 4 in the same way steve Novak is a 4 . He has one skill . Do not want for basketball reasons as well as history ... I doubt he wants to come here .

    Dirk is not coming to Houston even Daryl Morey offers DMo, TJ & 2 first rounders to Cuban for him. Cuban is not trading him and Dirk does not want to be traded.

    Terrible thread...on so many levels.

    A team that gets to the WCF with two starters missing has to be considered a contender already with those starters back in good health.

    We don't need a skills eroding Dirk to be a "contender", LOL.

    So many levels, very bad idea.

    When Yao was in the team, every year I pull up trade machine and have Dirk coming to Rox.

    The high pick and roll between Tmac and Yao, with Dirk and Battier at either wing/corner.

    We can hide Dirk on defense as Yao, Battier and TMac are all plus defenders.

    But that is 2008 - 2010.

    Its 2015 now, Even with Dirk being old and an overpaid veteran. Cuban will still say over my dead body.
