Until they go on a 3-4-5 game winning streak again and then we're "all in" again. Past month: Lost 3 to Chicago(WS) Won 2 of 3 from Seattle Sweep 4 from Colorado Lost 2 of 3 from Seattle Lost 2 of 3 from Los Angeles(A) Split 2 with New York(Y) Sweep 3 from Kansas City Lost 2 of 3 from Boston and if they lose tonight, lose 3 of 4 from Cleveland. They obviously do have flaws. They do need starting pitching (but it takes two to make deal). They do need Springer & Lowrie back. (Edit: Not that they are saviors.) But watch out. Here come those <strike>Rangers</strike> Angels. Hottest team in the league. And did Ashby just said Astros are tied with Kansas City for most wins in the league? Come again? American League obviously.
Rooting for .500 is a severe low-ball unless you're considering further injury. Our pitching is much better than expected and our best hitters will get healthy. Yeah, that's what I thought.
Springer and Lowrie probably don't get back in time to make much of a difference this season. The lineup is too unbalanced. We need starting pitching, but there are definitely needs for some bats too.
Well, it appears doom and gloom has been established in this forum. Maybe it is reality, but barring further major injury, I think we'll finish 10+ above .500 You dont joke often... not here at least. Say exactly what you mean instead of side-stepping. It's cool either way, sir... I enjoy your posts.
Ok, I'll clarify: I was not being serious when I said that the Astros are cursed by the leave of clutchfans bbs poster "cagnajero". I was attempting a joke by saying that, and do not in any way truly believe that. Sorry. No more side-stepping.
Will you please stop posting this bull****? You are bringing nothing to the table, no insight, no thoughts, nothing. You are contributing nothing of value to anyone's enjoyment of the game/thread. Please do better, or don't do at all. And I'm not just talking about you.
