Yes. But by grabbing for all the glory, he loses any utility he had as a recruiter. What new player is going to believe he is Parsons new 'friend', assuming they cared in the first place.
Parsons is stupid for running his mouth. For one thing, he's painted himself into a corner. The media will remember his comments if he ever decides to leave Dallas for another team.
Parsons is soft it's no wonder we were so much better last season without his b**** ass. I was so sad when we lost him, now I never want that punk b**** back. Rot in Dallas loser. No wonder bev wanted no part of that **** and no wonder he wasn't wanted on team USA. Ariza has many faults but I can count on the guy when it matters, total opposite of parsons. Parsons is the type of dude that wants the glory but disappears when it matters and Arica is the type of dude who doesn't look for the glory but he is the one grinding down the opposing super stars and watching out for ours
idk, dude, Parsons is pretty clutch. Spoiler <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/4L37je8JKLo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Spoiler <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/cnL-lEbOEyk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
In hindsight I wonder if Morey secretly wanted Parsons gone. There were rumors that he was already going hollywood even with the Rockets, someone who cared for an image rather than substance. At this point it's clear he's all about self-promotion. He and Cuban are perfect for each other. I hope he opts out next year and ask Cuban for $25mil/yr as the "best recruiter" in the NBA.
I was a huge Parsons fan. I was really sick when he left. I didn't blame him for leaving, because I would never hold it against a player for going for the most money. Basketball is a business, and it doesn't bother me if a player goes for the cash. But when Parsons says he left Houston because he didn't want to play in the shadow of other players, then Parsons just understand his talent level. The only way Parsons ever wins a championship is if he's the third or fourth best player on the team. He will always be playing in the shadow of other players if he is lucky enough to be on a championship team. Parsons will never be James Harden, or Kevin Durant, or Anthony Davis.
I'm not surprised Parsons feels this way, but he needs to learn to take the high road sometimes and shut the **** up.
What a douche. This is the same b**** that signs his contract with Dallas in a nightclub and takes a picture like that? **** that guy. He's getting what he deserves. Now he can be the high paid overrated player answering all the questions why his team sucks.
He comes off as a little hysterical, but understandable considering the situation. And I gotta say, it was a total d*** move by Jordan.
I just can't believe how he sees himself as an NBA cornerstone, franchise type player. Dude wasn't even in the top 100 in player efficiency. He's a solid 3rd or 4th option…if he's a teams 1st or 2nd option, they'll suck.
Obnoxious, narcisstic, b****y *******. He left Houston for a bigger role? Yeah bigger role in the treatment room moron. He felt offended by Houston and yet he is stuck to playing with Zaza freaking Pachulia and a washed up PG in D Will. Dude you're a ****ing role player. 4th best option for any team worth its weight. You ain't no franchise cornerstone unless that team is in the lottery. Everything bad that happens to this idiot is fully deserved. Hope he never makes the playoffs again
