Mark Cuban vs Chris Broussard

Broussards boss should definitely hold him accountable. But that's the only person he has to prove anything to. He doesn't have to reveal anything to Cuban. If Broussard is allowed to keep publishing stuff like this, ESPN is putting their stamp of approval on it. If you don't trust any employee of a media outlet, you shouldn't trust any of them, because they should all be able to back their stories up internally.

The problem here is blurring the lines between a private Twitter account and anything work related. ESPN should prohibit employees from using private social media accounts because the public associates a of it with ESPN.

 

Broussard reports ridiculous non stories from unreliable "sources." Bill Simmons is, to a lot of people, genuinely funny and relatable. Simmons doesn't pretend to be a reporter. He talks like a very well informed fan and many people, myself included, enjoy his material.

I don't understand how you think that they are comparable at all.

This is the thing I hate. Only Cuban has enough money to call the game of Broussard. What about the others who can't afford it? He writes whatever he pleases.
