    There was a good NPR radio piece about this, interviewing a girl and a family in the US -- they nearly lost her to ISIS. So yeah, it basically started with internet chat and they recruit HARD. Very polite, give an appealing vision of joining something meaningful to make the world a better place, blah blah, rejecting your parents and all their flaws, blah blah. Saying they are not what the media portrays. They just want their own peaceful place in the world, blah blah.

    Those people are smart in a lot of ways, when it comes to preying on human weakness especially.

    We should be blocking their websites - the USA should be using Cyber counter terrorism - I know they think passive tracking is the way to catch folks, but all you catch are the converts, stop the flow of info at the source.
