Glad Cuban called him out big time but unfortunately Broussard is an obvious hack but BSPN refuses to bite the bullet and fire the guy. He is just their for clicks and to act like an "insider" so the masses who believe he is an insider will click his stupid links, etc. It is laughable how many times this guys "sources" have been proven wrong and it still cracks me up that he starts every tweet or comment with Sources or According to Sources... Anyways, I remember he was adamant about the Knicks drafting Mudiay or someone like that at #4 if the draft played out a certain way. Well the draft did play out a certain way and within minutes of the official pick on TV he was tweeted, "expect to see Mudiay taken here by the Knicks". Meanwhile, Adrian Woj already tweeted the pick 1-2 minutes earlier knowing the Knicks would take Porzingas. It is crazy how embarrassing he looks to knowledgeable fans and yet gets no backlash or anything from ESPN and is still hailed as the almighty "insider". Please just stop the nonsense ESPN but I guess they jumped the shark a long time ago.
We retained our roster and have wiggle room. What if there was a reason for moving mythodically? Gerald Green is not going to be our answer. I am beginning to think you are Chris Brousard, or at least one of his sources. Uninformed Rocket hate.
And the the Rockets still went to the Western Conference Finals without Patrick Beverly and DMO. Plus got 2nd seed in the West with Dwight missing half the season and Terrence Jones missing close to 50 games LOL.
Gerald Green first of all, to answer that whining guy , is NOT what the Rockets needed. He is no playmaker has no handles and is too trigger happy. However that contract is a bargain and he could get more I think. So likely the Heat have given him promise to pay him more next year or smth. They have a good squad. If healthy they can be no.2 seed in the East.
he's may not be the answer, but do you think it would help to have a 36% 3pt shooter vs a 28% playing as a backup for $7mill less, where we could spend money other places ?
Last year was a perfect chance for us. Oklahoma City was plagued by injury, Cleveland never really gelled and we finally beat the Clippers. Imagine if Morey hadn't ****ed up..
I understand your frustrations.. But see how this team looks by the season opener, than you can judge.. I still think we will make moves by then.. even more importantly by trade deadline next year; all of those guys you mentioned below could be easily available doing trade by then, you never know how a season will go, or fallout's from teams when players sign.. Just saying be patient and see this play out..
the injuries the rockets had has nothing to do with Morey. he put together the group of players that obviously had a pretty good chance of going deep. outside of that it's out of his control. not even sure why that even needs to be pointed out.
No idea. I'm just relieved he went east and didn't sign with the Spurs. He would've been a great backup for Harden. Not sure what the hell we're doing while all of these players are signing for amounts we could afford.
I was kidding about the table tennis and Morey. There are trade partners at least on paper at the moment but just hoping that the assets on the roster are enough to get another team or more interested. The whole DJ thing has thrown a wrinkle in the offseason. Whose to say the Mavs don't use that max cap space for trading purposes versus free agency. They could find a way to get Nene, Lawson, etc just by offering picks and trade exceptions.
If we were not lucky to sign with Josh, last season would be a depressing season again for us. The funny thing is most of fans here already forget about it and even put KJ over Josh.
It is a good contract and would rather have Green on that contract than brewer on his. But Green knows he will get playing time in Miami, it is a big market team, and has play off success in the east. We could not have gotten him for that price. Also, Brewer is a leader. He saved our asses in some playoff games.
Morey is sitting back with a poker face. He will make his moves but be realistic this team doesn't need a overhaul. The team needs a few pieces. Again, I go back to chemistry and this team has it.
are you just looking at one season worth of numbers and believe its that simple to fit a player like green in whose isn't exactly the most popular guy in the locker room.
