I mean, it's pretty automatic....the Clippers couldn't even beat a Rockets squad down 2 starters, why would anyone think they'd be a tough out if both teams were at full strength like they presumably would be if they met in the playoffs again?

Which one sounds more important in the direct quote above? Basketball or emotional?

Read the quote again. Are you a clown that thinks the Clippers would be an automatic out due to a historic comeback last year? Oh yeah, probably. Thanks for the continued lulz bobby, keep being salty and delusional. I expect nothing else! :)

No, I think they'd be pretty close to an automatic out due to their roster. LOL, they can't hang with a Rockets team down 2 starters, what makes anyone think they'd be able to beat a Rockets team at full strength? Is it really that impressive to force 7 games against 60% of the Rockets starting lineup?

I mean, I know the Rockets are impressive, but any respectable team should have been able to do at least that no?

No one thinks the clippers will be automatic, we have a glaring hole in this team that once addressed with even a moderately good player will have them on par with teams better than the Clippers though, but this isn't about that or the upcoming season or what will happen in trades until the deadline. It's about how the 3 people who have done their utmost to insult the team, the city, its players (Cuban, Parsons and Fegan) all simultaneously got screwed and in one of the most epic ways in nba history.

Delusions? You are the one that thinks the Clippers are awesome because they almost managed to beat 60% of the Rockets starting lineup....That's pretty much their top accomplishment in franchise history actually.

What reason is there to respect the Clippers?

Besides the obvious joy at watching the Mavs go fetal position is that DJ is getting an awesome deal from LA.

Goes to show you can't even pay an HTown boy 100 MILL to move to Dallas! (well maybe not everybody lol)

Which two starters are we talking about here? I'm assuming it's Pat Beverly and DMo. First of all, Terrance Jones was the starting PF when he was healthy and Josh Smith was the reason they luckily came back in the series vs the Clippers. Secondly, Pat Beverly is a good defender, but Jason Terry's offense was a big factor in the team coming back to beat the Clippers. So, really, the Rockets only won because they were missing their starting PG and PF. The fact is they didn't have a legit starting PG and PF to begin with so what difference did it make. Josh Smith deciding to become Larry Bird starting in Game 5 was the difference in the series vs the Clippers. He went back to being Josh Smith vs the Warriors so the Clippers curse is a factor too.

    Oh, the Laker's fan.

Hows that Aldridge/Cousins front court going? All that bluster about everyone will be amazed by the 16 championships and all that?

Any ways, Rockets won because they were the better team. That much is clear. Mentally and physically. In the end the Rockets woke up and decided to play with a little heart and effort and the Clippers did not have the depth to last for TWO 7 game series. They had to sweep the Rockets in 4 or 5 games and Harden/Dwight got it to that game 5 and the rest of his team carried him home.

Pat Bev and D-Mo were 3rd and 4th in minutes played for the Rockets during the regular season. They played a big role in why the Rockets had the 3rd best record in the league.

So you'd really want DMo out there instead of Josh Smith in the playoffs? Did you watch the playoffs? Again, Terrance Jones was the starter so I don't see where the starting PF wasn't available in the playoffs excuse comes from. The Rockets were lucky to come back vs the Clippers and Josh Smith, Trevor Ariza, and Corey Brewer had everything to do with it by catching fire starting in game 5.

Nope, that does not happen every year. No.

Jordan, Magic, Kareem,Wilt and Hakeem can come over here but they cannot do that, let alone to say twice in a row.....

Man, DJ comes across as a huge p**sy here. He wanted to leave LA because CP3 was mean, he went to Dallas because HIS agent told him to.

He then realized he got himself into something bad, so he called daddy Rivers to come help because he was to scared to get himself out of it. The entire city of LA had to be at his side all night becasue they were scared Cuban and co would get in and change his mind again because he was scared to say no.

I mean jesus christ, you are a grown man, act like it.
