    1. They have 4 players from last year leave for nothing
    2. Put all eggs in one basket
    3. Have two average and injured players on hefty contracts
    4. Dj -- lmao
    5. Kings will be a stronger team
    6. All ex players who left will shine in new roles (especially Rondo)

    Can it get worse?

They could finish 8th in the lottery which means their pick will go to Boston

Why cant other people find this funny? As a rockets fan seeing Cuban and Parsons and Fegan with egg on their face is satisfying after all their antics in FA last year. Sure it made the Clipps a contender but you can't control when other teams become better and even full force I still put healthy OKC, Spurs, Cleveland and GSW over them so w/e

Cuban won a championship this decade, not sayin I agree that he is a better owner but that is a good reason to claim he is better.

Cuban didn't win a championship. LeBron choked that finals and Dirk played out of his mind.
Don't forget Cuban blew that team up and they became irrelevant ever since.

It's an ongoing joke from Barkley on TNT. Reggie is just using it, he knows they're alive

What makes me a little sad is this is better for the mavs in the long run. They can tank and rebuild properly now instead of being stuck in mediocrity for 3 years.

By that logic. Les would win hands down. He won 2 titels the first 2 years he was an owner. pubans story has yet to unravel and be told. His tenure isnt nearly as long and now we get to see what he can do to manage that franchise when all his chips are down like Les' was a few years ago.

Side note in DeAndre Jordan 4 year $87.6 million deal is he has a 15 percent trade kicker, per source.

Lol how long do you think it's gonna take to be relevant in the west even with the #1 pick? Look at the Pelicans, even with AD going HAM they barely made the playoffs after 3 years. Unless you're in the east and have Lebron 2.0 coming out you got 3-4 years to go.

Not only that, but even if the Mavs got a top pick this coming year, there's no guarantee they'd be any good. I know the 2015 draft just happened, but usually there's some initial hype about guys if there like all-world talent. I have a feeling next year's top guys will be pretty average as far as early picks go.
