Do Cuban's tears make up for the fact that the Clippers have gone from probably being a 50-win, 6-8 seed contender, to remaining a powerhouse, with the addition of Pierce (and I guess Lance)?

I hate to say this but the idea of this whole mess crushing Cuban and Parsons outweighs the fact that DJ signing with the Mavs would have been best for our title hopes.

First it isn't good for the Rockets.

Second the entire thing is bad for the league and has made everyone involved look like an unprofessional idiot. Backing out of the deal is weak but it is everything since then that is problematic.

Like, I get that this hurts our title hopes to a degree, but the schadenfreude is just too much for me not to enjoy this.

The West is going to be even harder this year. 1-6 are going to be tough.

Wow the Mavs are a PR Nightmare with the Rondo crap and now this. Having the clippers stay at your home to make sure you don't change your mind, Deandre take off the skirt and put your shorts back on.

Same! But seriously funniest day of signings / decisions ever. Someone needs to make a 20 minute animation cartoon of this.

Clippers have probably overtaken the Rockets now, so that blows.

If Jordan went to the Mavs we'd be better than both teams.

The Mavs' misery is a nice consolation price, though.

It's not good for the Rockets. We can still beat the Clips, but it just adds another really tough team to the West.

As for this entire episode, it's an embarrassment to the NBA. I have a feeling the moratorium period will be a thing of the past come next offseason. And the Clippers and Jordan will not be very popular around the league.

Terrible for the league. It's an embarrassment, and now teams are basically encouraged to use the dirtiest "legal" tactics available to get whatever advantage they can.

The biggest problem is now that Clippers have stolen DJ, Mavs will try the same for other players open on the block, which will set off a chain of events.

The only good thing to come out of this is Fegan getting embarrassed, but Clippers get tougher and that's another contender Rocket will need to worry about.

Hands down the greatest NBA free agency night of all time. LOL Parsons and Cuban, the douchebag duo.

Co-sign. The league looks really unprofessional.

DeAndre and the Clipps are both trash. They deserve eachother.
