    Pretty much how I feel about it. As funny as it is, I hope he stays with the Mavs so they have him locked up long term and it is super super awkward in light of today.

    Does Morey ring up Cuban for that Dirk trade again?

    Cuban would never trade Dirk to the Rockets. His pride wouldn't allow it. I do wonder if he'll trade Dirk somewhere though. If he's gonna tank, Dirk likely wants no part of that at this stage of his career. Plus it's easier to lose games if he's not on the roster.

    If the Rox really believe this year will be the year for us to win it all, worrying about an opponent we beat last year to keep their player is pretty sad.

    I would rather like to see a team we really hate to go to the dump for at least 10 years.

    They got better this year. Added Pierce, Stephenson, Wesley Johnson. And that collapse was insane. Don't see that happening with a guy like Pierce out there.

    You always worry about an elite team, and if DeAndre comes back, they are elite. That worries me more than the Mavs having all their capspace tied up with flawed players.

    If DJ pulled all that crap at the last minute and then decides he's still going to the Mavs, then that's pretty damn hilarious. All this would have been for nothing.

    I hope DJ signs with the Mavs, the Clipps added some serious firepower on the wings with Pierce and Stephenson, if they got DJ back they're pretty much back to being contenders.

    And honestly I don't want the Mavs to tank, I want them to try and build a long term core of Parsons, DJ and Ellis (lol). At the very least we'll see more vids of that Dallas fanboy talking about the Mavs are the best team in the NBA and then meltdown after each loss lol.
