    In Bosh's case, he went after the money...

    In DJ's case, Fegan clearly was trying to help Dallas avoid having to drastically rebuild. Nothing else makes sense about DJ moving away from a title contender, while getting max dollars. What an unbelievable day in NBA offseason history.

    Im not from Houston.but mavs rox rivalry is the best the nba has to offer. Rivalries make sport more interesting. U cant be a rockets fan and not root always against the mavs. Simple as that.

    It goes back to the 1960s with the Oilers and Cowboys. The Oilers basically became a joke while the Cows became "America's Team". Houston sports fans have basically embraced the dark side of the force vis-a-vis Dallas ever since. I really don't understand why - during the 1990s, Houston Rockets basketball achieved its greatest glory while the Dallas Mavs were an NBA joke for an entire decade. I must admit though I'm having a wonderful time watching Mark Cuban's hubris blow up in his face - maybe now he'll let his basketball people do their jobs. I think I'll call this episode "The Revenge Of Shawn Bradley".
