I just want him to go back to the Clippers because this would make Chandler Parsons the biggest tool in the league after his comments about Mathews and Jordan.

 

If they punish any team for this I will be calling foul.

Seemed like no one cared when Bosh did the same thing...and Morey made moves contingent on the decision that Bosh would be here. No one asked for the league to slide in and punish a team then.

Could you blame him for bailing? I wouldn't hold it against him. The Kings would be a much better situation and offer more money(assuming that deal is still on the table). It ain't just gonna be the Mavs and their fans PO'd at Jordan. I think a lot of people in the NBA are gonna be furious if he changes his mind.

If the league issues a punishment to the Clippers but says they didn't violate any rules that would outrageous. If they did violate rules they would need to invalidate the contract (which they've also done in the past.)

I'm willing to tipjar bet that there will be no fine/punishment against the Clippers barring information that is counter to what we've heard thus far. (DeAndre reached out to Clippers)

I see where you're going but it's not the same situation. Bosh never told the Rockets he was signing with them. The Rockets took a calculated risk making moves in case Bosh wanted them. The Mavs made moves with knowledge of DJ wanting them. Similar, but not the same.

I don't think there should be any punishment handed out over this. The league should have known that this moratorium was moronic and something like this would eventually happen. Nothing was ever signed.
