Can you list injuries that occurred in the last couple years due to his negligence? I'm curious. He can't prevent injuries from happening... he can treat them though. Beverley's injuries aren't a result of poor physical training...
We lead the league in injured bodies every year. Going back to the Tmac and Yao years. And Keith is still here.
Oh man. This thread has now turned its attention towards Keith Jones. The NBA withdrawals kicked in fast.
Sounds like he's telling teams he wants a coaching gig after he retires and that's what is going to determine where he plays next season. I thought Cyberx or someone said that Terry was going to be back with the Rockets and there were discussions or something where he would coach for them afterwards.
Not that the Rockets didn't have injury problems under the previous trainer(was it Ray Melchiorre?) in 1995 and 1996. But their track record since 1996-97 has been pretty bad. Some of it is due to having injury prone players come through here like T-Mac, Yao, or Price Krispie. But it does cause concern when someone like Dwight who hardly ever got injured prior to coming here is suddenly missing half the season.
Almost two decades back and in that timeframe we have had several injuries. I don't have the numbers but I'm sure we are amongst the top teams with players missing games to injuries. Coincidence? Me thinks not.
Where is your support for this? Thomas had a 58% TS% last year. That's volume badness? Seems like you're just talking out of your a$$.
Yeah..... good luck getting Keith Jones fired. He is Senior Vice President of Basketball Operations and has been with the Rockets for nearly 25 seasons and is probably the most popular guy in the Toyota Center.
Depends on the players. I wasn't surprised when guys like Barkley in their mid-30's were breaking down. Yao was always a concern with those tree-sized legs of his and being forced to play year-round by the Chinese national team. And I have a sneaking suspicion that Bev may be a guy who simply can't stay healthy for an entire season. What worries me are cases like Dwight Howard. Dude was an iron man before coming here and now he's missing 41 games and may have to sit B2Bs going forward. D-Mo out of the blue goes from starting every game to needing back surgery. I'm gonna chalk up T-Jones to a couple of freak injuries and bad luck. But there is a disturbing pattern with this organization.
