No, Morey already had an official press conference where he threw his hands in the air and said he had no other options. He tried to pretend that he wasn't crying, but you could tell.
This offseason hasn't sucked at all............some people just going crazy because we haven't signed anyone "new" yet plenty of time between now and the start of the season to improve the roster we have re-signed our players and all we need is to be healthy to challenge for a title
Still waiting for you to tell me what you'd do different. Draft Grant? sure great prospect, but he's not helping you this season. Are you implying that Morey should have been in a position to have more cap space? That's what you'd do different?
Ok I'll give them the fact they run the pick and roll at times. The offense isn't that hard for the average fan to figure out Rockets just have a lot of good players... but the hole is at point guard. Darn hole is too big it's a issue.
Still no PG & a PF who can shoot, people begging for a horrible shooting rookie to be signed to the MLE & another bad shooting big to come back. But will blame mchale for lack of plays & worship morey
First of all how are you so sure that Grant isn't good enough to come off the bench behind Beverley and help this team? Second yes Morey had more capspace but after he struck out on the big wigs he quickly signed two guys we had on the team last year. There is a logjam at the 3 and the 4 dude. Not saying being GM of a basketball team is the easiest job in the world but it's clear what the Rockets need and there are a lot of good enough guards in this league that could help Harden and this team. The fact that all we have at guard is Harden and Beverley right now is ridiculous after what we have seen the past three years.
There is still time to make deals. It is only early July. At this time in 2008, Donte Greene was still a Rocket and Ron Artest was still a King. Now, if the Rockets still haven't cashed in their "assets and flexibility for on-court help by the trade deadline when there are upgrades available, then I'd complain. Right now, teams are still nailing down free agents, structuring deals for the expiration of the moratorium. Even Denver, long rumored to be active, still hasn't traded Lawson and others.
